Andrew Garfield

Andrew Russell Garfield (born August 20 1983) is an American actor and producer who grew up in Los Angeles California. Garfield is known for his roles in films like The Social Network (2010) The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) and Hacksaw Ridge (2016). Garfield started his career as a stage actor before shifting into television in 2005 with Sugar Rush. He was first introduced as an actor for film in Mumbo Jumbo. Following the success he had in The Social Network (2010) the actor portrayed Spiderman for the remake in 2012 with the direction of Marc Webb. His parents are American Richard Garfield, and British Lynn Hillman. He has a brother named Ben. The family relocated from the United States to England when he turned three. He went to school and lived in Surrey. It was at this time that he began lessons in acting an early age, and was able to take part in numerous school productions. In the following years, he attended the Central School of Speech and Drama in London taking his first steps in the world of theater.
